morning?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The balloon gets very affected by the weather conditions and consequently its safety. In\u00a0the early morning the turbulence and atmospheric thermals, which are unmanageable and very dangerous, have not yet completely formed and therefore there are the best safety conditions. Ballooning activity in the mountains MUST ALWAYS END\u00a0BEFORE the formation of these dangerous phenomena.<\/p>\n<p>In winter, the phenomenon of thermals is more rare and therefore is possible to take off&#8230; with a few more hours of sleep!<\/p>\n<p>In different areas, on the other hand, the thermals end their effects towards the late afternoon,\u00a0 making an evening flight possible.<\/p>\n<p>Flight during sunrise has an incredible charm and colours!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Which height is reached when flying above the Dolomites?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also in this case, attention must be paid to the weather conditions and the aeronautical restrictions imposed. We mainly offer flights which the take-off and the landing take place in Val Pusteria and when there are suitable situations, we can reach 2.500 meters asl<\/p>\n<p>The situation is more <u>complicated <\/u>when the scheuled flight involves crossing the Alps\u00a0(this occurs only in the winter season) because of various factors such as wind direction and speed must be taken into consideration. In this case, heights of\u00a0about 4.000 meters asl can and must be reached<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) Can they fly anywhere with the hot-air balloon?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are specialized in flying <u>over<\/u> the Dolomites, in Veneto and Friuli which are<\/p>\n<p>the territories we know better. South Tyrol does not offer many alternatives to fly safely, and for this reason we have chosen Alta Pusteria as the location for our flights, in a unique setting in the world. The hot-air balloon is an aircraft and for this reason the provisions and limitations imposed by the laws must be observed: to this are added the difficulties of landing maneuvers of the balloon that is pushed only by the wind &#8230; These are the parameters to be taken into consideration before deciding which area to overfly<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) How is the flight experience program?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When the appointment is confirmed and you are there, tests are carried out to understand the direction and intensity of the wind: then you reach the take-off field and start the inflation operations. Before take-off, the pilot provides passengers with all the information relating to safety and behavior to be followed during the flight and the landing.The duration of the flight is, usually, about an hour (variable between 40 &#8216;and 70&#8217;) and once landed and the equipment has been rearranged, we make the Balloon Baptism ceremony with a Certificate of the First Flight signed by the pilot.
